Ben graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2018 with a first class MSci degree in Theoretical Physics. His research project focused on the use of non-Hermitian quantum mechanics as a means of modelling loss and gain in optical and solid state systems.
During university, Ben completed a summer internship with BP conducting an investigation into improving productivity estimates based on petrophysical data. He is now working as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Birmingham office, specialising in the physical sciences, including mechanical and electronics work.
