Mark Dewey

Mark graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc honours degree in Chemistry and subsequently gained a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Nanyang Technological University for his studies in the novel synthesis of heterocycles using metal and base catalysis. Before joining Marks & Clerk Singapore, he spent several years working at the National University of Singapore High School of Mathematics and Science as an Assistant Head of Research, Innovation and Enterprise.

Mark specialises in patent matters relating to chemistry, materials, and pharmaceutical technologies. He also works with clients in the mechanical engineering field. Mark completed the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law in 2014 and is currently training to qualify as a patent attorney in Singapore.

Mark is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
