Trevor Crosse

Trevor is an intellectual property lawyer who advises clients on the full range of IP rights. He has significant experience in patent litigation, particularly in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors, where he also regularly advises clients in relation to Supplementary Protection Certificates. Trevor also has patent litigation experience in the medical devices, electronics and general engineering sectors.

Trevor has advised clients in actions in the High Court, Court of Appeal and Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, as well as in relation to references to the Court of Justice of the European Union. His work often relates to multi-jurisdictional disputes and he has experience in co-ordinating pan-European litigation for clients based in the US and Asia.

In addition to his work in the patent litigation field, Trevor has advised clients on a wide range of other contentious IP matters including claims for infringement of trade marks, registered designs, copyright in computer software and for passing off.

Trevor also advises clients on non-contentious matters relating to the development and exploitation of their intellectual property rights, securitisation of IP assets, data protection and freedom of information.

Trevor trained as a solicitor at another leading London IP firm, qualifying in 2009. He joined Marks & Clerk Law in September 2010.

Trevor’s interests include football (both playing and watching), music and live comedy.

Trevor has been recognised as a rising star by Managing Intellectual Property, IP Stars, 2018.
