Rebecca joined Marks & Clerk in 2013 and is a qualified UK and European Trade Mark Attorney.
Rebecca assists clients with the registration, management and enforcement of UK, EU and international trade marks and design rights. She advises clients in a wide range of sectors, from automotives and electronics to food and beverage and manufacturing in relation to clearance searches, filing and prosecution of applications, oppositions and cancellations, and infringement. She also has a particular interest in the technology, software and creative sectors, including esports, VR/AR and animation.
Rebecca was awarded a Commendation in the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Law School. She graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Masters degree in Management and International Relations and also has a Bachelors in Law from the College of Law, where she was awarded postgraduate diplomas in Law and Legal Practice with Commendation. During her time at the College of Law, she was extensively involved in pro bono and was shortlisted for a LawWorks & Attorney General Student Pro Bono Award in 2010.
Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Rebecca lived and worked in Japan. She speaks conversational Japanese and is a member of the Japanese trade mark team at Marks & Clerk.
