Jo Bradley

Jo has over 20 years of experience working in the profession, primarily with speciality chemical companies in competitive business sectors. As well as patent drafting and prosecution work, Jo has considerable experience in opposition and appeal work at the European Patent Office and in providing freedom to operate and validity opinions.

Jo has particular experience working with fuel/lubricating oil additives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, peptides, biological deposits, polymers, biocide detergents, biofuels, glass fibres, biosensors, gas sensors, batteries, solar cells, fuel cells and medical devices. 

Jo has a MA in Natural Sciences and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Cambridge. Her doctorate research was sponsored by ICI and involved an ultra-high vacuum study on ammonia oxidation and the NO + CO reaction on Pt{100} using supersonic molecular beams. After a period of working in-house for BP chemicals, Jo qualified as a patent attorney in 1999 and has worked in private practice since then.
