Rachel joined the Cambridge office in October 2017. She obtained her BSc in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the University of Leicester in 2013, before spending a year as a research scientist at Dstl, Ministry of Defence. She subsequently undertook a PhD at the Centre for Inflammation Biology and Cancer Immunology at King’s College London, focussing on keloid scarring in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline. During her PhD, she was involved in teaching, scientific outreach with the Brilliant Club and held a part-time internship with King’s IP and Licensing department.
