Alan Ng

Alan joined Marks & Clerk in 2012 as a patent engineer after graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering. His research interests focused on the fabrication of III-V based high electron mobility transistor and novel GaN LED devices. He is experienced in various R&D projects collaborating with several leading semiconductor manufacturers and universities.  He has experience in clean-room fabrication environments and a broad range of characterization techniques.
 
Before joining Marks and Clerk, he joined the R&D department of a government-funded research institute in Hong Kong as a research engineer. His previous research interests focused on nanotech and different photovoltaic technologies, including amorphous-silicon (a-Si), copper-indium-galium-diselenide (CIGS) and organic photovoltaic (OPV) on flexible substrates. Alan is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
