Marks & Clerk top Legal 500 Lists

24 October 2017

The quality of Marks & Clerk counsel has been recognised again by legal directory Legal 500 which has ranked the firm as top tier in the Technology, Media and Telecoms sector in both the Patent Attorney and Trade Mark Attorney categories.

A total of 24 Attorneys were recommended in this year’s directory from the Marks & Clerk team, covering a range of specialisms.

Amongst those recognised were Graham Burnett-Hall, a specialist in patent litigation with experience of multi-jurisdictional disputes, Paul Chapman who chairs Marks & Clerk’s life sciences committee and trade mark specialist Campbell Newell, described by IAM Patent 1000 – which lists top intellectual property professionals globally – as bringing “the rigour of a seasoned academic to his practice”.

Commenting on the latest research from Legal 500, Marks & Clerk’s UK Managing Partner David Ward said:

“Service is central to what Marks & Clerk do and to see so many of our colleagues recognised in the most recent Legal 500 research is great news for both our team and our clients. As a leading filer of both EU trade marks and European Patents, our team offer unprecedented reach and expertise, but always with a focus on the businesses and people we work with.

“From start-ups making their first foray into IP, to corporations with global footprints and substantial research and development operations – our team can advise a business at any stage of its journey.”
