Marks & Clerk Solicitors recognised by Who’s Who for life sciences expertise

Marks & Clerk Solicitors has been recognised for expertise in the life sciences sector in the most recent research from Who’s Who Legal. Who’s Who recognised five of the team from Marks & Clerk Solicitors in the Life Sciences category: Charlie Balme, Graham Burnett-Hall, Mike Gilbert, Will James and Simon Portman.

Mike Gilbert was recognised as being the top thought leader in the life sciences space, having received the most nominations from peers and corporate counsel. Alongside being a thought leader, Mike was described as “outstanding” by the research team at Who’s Who and the “go to practitioner for SPC (Supplementary Protection Certificate) matters in the life sciences sector”.

Will James was also recognised as being an “excellent litigator” with a “comprehensive understanding” of complex patent issues. Charlie Balme was noted for his “thorough and strategic approach” while Graham Burnett-Hall was praised for having “communication skills and sound understanding of biotech cases”.

The latest accolade for Marks & Clerk follows recent recognition from Managing Intellectual Property and World Trademark Review
