Malaysia business wins Asia IP award

18 October 2016

Yesterday evening, our Malaysia business was proud to accept the Asia IP award for patent work. We were joined by 47 other firms who took home trophies at this year’s awards, hosted in Bali, Indonesia. The awards named top trademarks, patents and copyright practices as determined by in-house counsel from Asia, Europe and the Americas. More than 5,000 in-house counsel were polled by Asia IP Magazine throughout the first part of 2016 to determine the award winners.

Dr Chris Hemingway, a director of our Malaysia business received the award on behalf of the firm.

Our Asia businesses had also been nominated in six other categories:

  • Malaysia Copyright
  • Singapore Patents
  • Hong Kong Patents
  • Hong Kong Trade Marks
  • International Patents
  • International Trade Marks
