IP directories news across the firm

7 June 2017

We are delighted to share a recent slew of IP directories news.

In the Asian Legal Business rankings, our Malaysia and Singapore offices were both ranked in the top tier for their patent work, with our Malaysia office also being ranked top tier for its trade mark work. Our Hong Kong office was also ranked in tier 2 for its patent work.

Who’s Who Legal has also released its 2017 patents analysis. As the guide’s Patent Agents analysis says, “Marks & Clerk once again leads the way in terms of total number of nominations” with 17 of our Patent Attorneys featuring, and five of our lawyers (solicitors) also featuring.

Meanwhile, we maintained or improved our rankings in all jurisdictions in this year’s IAM Patent 1000, with many offices ranked in the top tier (*):

  • International patent work – Recommended*
  • European patent prosecution – Gold tier*
  • United Kingdom patent prosecution – Highly recommended*
  • United Kingdom patent litigation – Silver tier
  • Scotland patent prosecution – Gold tier*
  • France patent prosecution – Recommended
  • Canadian patent prosecution – Silver
  • Hong Kong patent prosecution – Gold tier* (only firm ranked top tier)
  • Malaysia patent prosecution – Highly recommended* (only firm ranked top tier)
  • Singapore patent prosecution – Recommended*

18 of our Patent Attorneys and lawyers (solicitors) were also individually recommended.
