Chocolate and networking in Cambridge

17 June 2014

Last week, Kirsteen Gordon, Julia Gwilt and Barbara Fleck from our Cambridge (UK) office hosted the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Women in Intellectual Property International Networking Event. This event has been hugely successful in the US where it is now in its seventh year. For the first time this year, the event was held simultaneously across seven European locations. The event brought together women who practice IP law and/or are regularly faced with IP issues, including entrepreneurs, scientists and business angels.

The event included a chocolate tasting session and an opportunity to network over drinks and canapés. The evening was a huge success and attendees fed back that they had enjoyed the “delicious chocolate” and found it “interesting to meet other women in IP in Cambridge”.
